As I explained in a previous article, I recently moved to Japan and found a job in an advertising agency called monopo.
Even before I started my job in the company, my bosses were kind enough to invite me to their annual 合 宿 gasshuku (summer trip). It takes place every year and is organized by a member of the company.
This year, we went to Kanagawa for a night of camping followed by a night in a luxurious ryokan (traditional Japanese inn).
Here is the diary of our first day and night of camping:
Part 2 is here 🙂
as monopo is growing, we had to rent a full bus!
food shopping in a local shop
arrived at our tiny camp!
A tent company brought everything necessary and tought us how to build our tents

who care about rain when you hqve this very fashionable item ?
I haven’t even started work and I am about to see all of my female cowrokers naked in the hot spring
Since the onsen (hot spring) water is shared, you are supposed to wash your body before entering the bath
we also had a bartender coming for the night, and he created this special monopo cocktail
a beautiful welcome present 🙂
